Sad news in this afternoon. Richard Lewis has passed away at the age of 76.
According to Variety, the cause of death was a heart attack.
Of course last year in April, Lewis announced that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and would be retiring from stand-up comedy.
He did, however, most recently appear in Season 12 of “Curb Your Enthusiasm" which is currently airing on HBO and Max.
Lewis was a legend in the world of comedy, and will be greatly missed.
