The Rolling Stones are celebrating “Black and Blue” with a Super Deluxe Box Set!
Dropping on November 14, the album is remixed and expanded as a 5-LP vinyl box set and a 4-CD box set, including a Blu-ray disc, a hundred-page hardback book, and a replica tour poster.
Black and Blue is the first album without Mick Taylor, as he quit in 1974, so Keith Richards recorded the bulk of the album. Eventually, Ron Wood would take over the position which he still holds to this day.
Black and Blue blends the Stones rock style with a mix of reggae and funk. “Fool To Cry” was the only hit single, as the initial reception to the album was mixed, but through the years it’s gained a bit of a cult following making a Deluxe almost new found territory for the Stones.
A limited edition 5-LP version will also be available, alongside 2-disc and 1-disc formats on both vinyl and CD.
