Crash Young has built a radio career spanning more than two decades, beginning in 2001 when he convinced a program director to give him a shot at full-time nights on a rock station. Since then, he’s worked every major daypart, co-hosted and produced morning shows, and covered a wide range of formats, including classic rock, active rock, mainstream rock, hot AC, and Top 40. Known for his wit, charm, and deep knowledge of alternative rock, Crash brings a genuine passion for music and the stories behind it to the airwaves.

Away from the mic, Crash stays active through skipping rope, skateboarding, Onewheeling, running, cycling, and hitting the gym. He’s also an accomplished cook with an appreciation for great food, craft beer, wine, and film. His taste in movies leans toward atmospheric horror, and he considers John Carpenter’s Halloween a masterpiece.

Crash lives with his wife, Cebrina, and their two sons, Lex and River. His musical tastes are eclectic, spanning multiple genres and generations. Depending on his mood, his playlist might feature Metallica, Misfits, and Vanity one day, or Sinatra, Duke Ellington, and Robert Johnson the next. You never know what you’ll hear. His first concert was Loverboy.
