Slash, Duff, Chad Smith, Post Malone & Andrew Watt performing Ozzy tribute on 2026 Grammys

Ozzy Osbourne will be honored at the Grammy Awards with a special performance featuring Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, producer Andrew Watt, and singer Post Malone. The tribute will be part of a broader in memoriam segment that will also feature performances by Lauren Hill, Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, Lukas Nelson, and others. The Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday night in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount Plus. Other performers at the event include Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse, Pharrell Williams, and Justin Bieber.

SHARON OSBOURNE In Talks With LIVE NATION About Bringing OZZFEST Back

Sharon Osbourne is considering bringing back OzzFest, the hard rock and metal festival she launched with Ozzy Osbourne 30 years ago. The event could return as soon as 2027 and would feature multiple music genres. Sharon revealed that the festival ended due to artists' managers becoming too greedy, demanding more money. The fundraising for the memorial has regained momentum and is expected to reach its $1 million goal, thanks to the contribution from Peart’s bandmates. The tour celebrates RUSH’s music and Neil Peart's legacy, marking the first time Lee and Lifeson have toured together in eleven years. The tour will feature multiple-night stands in select cities, with each date billed as a special “evening with” performance. The announcement of the tour sparked immediate demand, leading to sold-out shows and additional tour dates being added.

Mötley Crüe/Miller Barondess LLP Obtain Complete Victory in Mick Mars Dispute

Mötley Crüe has emerged victorious in their legal battle against former guitarist Mick Mars, who was ordered to pay back over $750,000 in advance tour payments. Sleep Token's are earning their first Gold certification in the U.S. That's thanks to their 2025 album "Even In Arcadia," which was certified Gold by the The Recording Industry Association of America on Monday. The band previously earned their first Gold certification in their home country, the U.K. Sleep Token will have a chance to take home another honor at the 2026 Grammy Awards this weekend as they're up for an award for Best Metal Performance.

Limp Bizkit are riding high with their biggest hit in over 20 years, "Making Love to Morgan Wallen." And guitarist Wes Borland believes that it's because they were out of the public eye for long time. Borland told Metal Hammer, “I just think it took a lot of people time to get over how annoyingly in everyone’s face we were for [the early 2000s]. When you’re that overexposed, where no one can get away from you and you’re like, ‘Uh, I’m so sick of seeing this person all the time.’" "Now, people can enjoy the band for what it is. I love being in Limp Bizkit so much now. I love every show, I love going on tour, I love everybody in the band. But it took all these years for me to look back on that and go, ‘God, I love this, and I love playing those songs.’”

Black Veil Brides to play The Fillmore Detroit as part of new 2026 headlining tour

American metalcore band Black Veil Brides have announced a North American tour set to kick off on April 25 in Riverside, California, and conclude on May 30 in Worcester, Massachusetts. ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ was nominated for 2 more awards

"Becoming Led Zeppelin" has received two new award nominations, including one for the documentary screenplay category in the 2026 Writers Guild Awards and another for best edited documentary feature at the American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards. Despite not receiving a BAFTA nomination for best documentary, the film has been successful at the box office, bringing in $16.1 million. The filmmakers attribute this success to their decision to forgo traditional marketing campaigns and rely on the film's quality and the theatrical experience. IMAX also praised the film, calling it their most successful documentary of 2025 and highlighting its record-breaking opening weekend for an exclusive music release."

Van Halen’s “Jump” has been reworked for a new Coca-Cola commercial, one of three in celebration of the FIFA World Cup from June 11th to July 19th across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
