WATCH- #LIVEAID40 Judas Priest "Living After Midnight"

British heavy metal legends Judas Priest performed at the Philadelphia leg of Live Aid on July 13, 1985. Taking the stage at John F. Kennedy Stadium, they played a brief but powerful set that included “Living After Midnight,” “The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown),” and “You've Got Another Thing Comin’.” Though their slot was short, their energetic performance showcased metal’s place in the global music scene. Live Aid ultimately raised over $125 million for Ethiopian famine relief, and Judas Priest’s appearance cemented their role as one of the major rock acts contributing to this historic day.
