PAUL McCARTNEY: Third Bowery Show Has a Twist
Paul McCartney's third show in a row at Bowery Ballroom in New York City, set for tonight
(Friday night) will be a bit different than the previous two. JournalistĀ Lindsey AdlerĀ was one of the fans in line long before tickets went on sale at 1 p.m. Thursday and says that only 90 tickets were distributed. Adler was told it was because the capacity had been lowered from 575 as McCartney's production crew was making alterations to the stage and bringing in an outside soundboard. (The Bowery's soundboard is on a balcony, so an outside soundboard on the floor will cut capacity.)Ā Adler said that notices of filming were posted at the venue. It's not clear what the concert will be filmed for, but with McCartney announced as one of the guests forĀ SNLĀ 50th anniversary special on NBC Sunday night it seems logical that it could be used for that show.

LED ZEPPELIN:Ā BecomingĀ a Hit

"Nothing prepares you for when you get this call from Sony Pictures Classics going, 'It's the most successful IMAX music film of all time'. And so these people are coming up to you and they're like, 'Dude, we've watched your film three times already." And while it's been rumored that the film will return to IMAX theaters soon, a spokesperson for the film tells us that nothing has been confirmed yet.
Becoming Led ZeppelinĀ tells the story of the band's beginnings through their second album,

My father's bloodline was from there. And my mother's side of theĀ family are Romany-gypsy. My childhood was very sheltered until my parents took me to a big school in a big town. I was studying to be an accountant. I mean, I'd really dug a lot of what was going on at school. But when Little Richard appeared it was so provocativeĀ and all-consuming and hypnotic it kind of knocked everything else out of the water. That was it. The syringeĀ was in the arm forever."
