Kansas Cop LIED! McDonald's Employees DIDN'T Write Profane Words On Cup!

HERE IS HOW IT STARTED:

  • A Kansas police officer is accusing McDonald's employees of writing "f***ing pig" on a receipt taped to a cup of coffee ... but management swears it wasn't on the cup when it was given to him.
  • The incident happened over the weekend at a McDonald's in Junction City. Herrington Police Chief Brian Hornaday, trying to figure out which side is telling the truth, says he's watched security footage taken that day -- but "the video evidence did not show whether or not an employee of McDonald’s had written that on the receipt,” he says.
  • However, franchise owner Dana Cook tells a different story. "We thoroughly reviewed our security video from every angle, which clearly shows the words were not written by one of our employees," she says. "My McDonald’s [employees] have the utmost respect for all members of law enforcement and the military, and were troubled by the accusation made." Hornaday says the investigation is ongoing.

HERE'S HOW IT ENDS:

A Kansas cop has resigned after making up bogus claims that a McDonald's employee wrote "pig" on his cup of coffee.

The 23-year-old officer told Harington Police Chief Brian Hornaday that the lie he told "was meant to be a joke." The accusations were no joke to the McDonald's employees who conducted their own investigation by looking at security footage and asserting that no one wrote "pig" on the officer's receipt.

The Chief first called the incident a black eye on the city but now that the truth has come out he has called the incident "a black eye on law enforcement and a violation of the public's trust." He also said that charges against the officer weren't warranted at this time.
