The 13th Annual Salute to Heroes hockey game takes place on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
The game is played to honor those who serve, have served and have been injured or lost in the line of duty. Proceeds from the game benefit the Great Balls of Fire Chaitable Foundation.

Great Balls of Fire Charitable Foundation
Great Balls of Fire Inc. was founded in late 2006 to assist any sworn public safety personnel in financial need due to injury or illness. The 501-C(3) non-profit organization was created by Officer Danny Graham. The inspiration for the creation of the organization was from a friend, Officer John Pou, who was involved in a tragic accident in June 2005. Officer Pou was paralyzed from the chest down. As medical expenses mounted, the financial drain on the family became burdensome. Officers sought a way to assist the family financially. Great Balls of Fire Inc. came into fruition to assist with the needs of the families in difficult times. Through the help of various organizations and countless volunteers, we have been able to assist a number of needy families during their struggles.
