Local Huntersville Girl Scout Troop #632 will be hosting the inaugural 2017 Cookie Classic golf tournament on Monday, November 6th, at Northstone Country Club in Huntersville, North Carolina.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble format. Tournament day check-in begins at 9 a.m. and Tee Time is at 10:30 a.m. Entrance fees are $125 per player, and include lunch, dinner awards banquet, all-inclusive drinks and snacks while on course, gift bag, tournament cap, complimentary golf club cleaning, greens fees, and cart fees.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing teams as well as multiple game holes, awards, prizes and more. Visit their website, www.CookieClassic.org, to view some of the items and sponsors for this event.
Proceeds from the Cookie Classic will be used to help the troop participate in an international service project and to help support the Dale Earnhardt Environmental Leadership Campus at Oak Springs, a leadership campus providing a unique outdoor experience for all Girl Scouts with camping, cooperation courses, hiking trails, cabins, outdoor activities and many other educational program opportunities.
