If you're both a Metallica fan and a serious music head, Metallica is putting out a turntable you're going to want. When I say a serious music head, I mean really serious; as in you can tell the difference between a 180-gram record and a 120-gram record. Because otherwise, you're going to think a $1599 price tag is ridiculous.
But that's what the new turntable Metallica is putting out this summer will set you back. Not that it matters. Take a look at this thing - it's pretty badass, don't you think?
The design isn't your run-of-the-mill turntable shape (square or rectangle). They designed it, apparently, to look a lot like their logo; jagged edges, an S-shaped tone arm, and a transparent platter that your record sits on. It's definitely the most metal-looking record player I've ever seen. What about you?
