On May 15 at 6 p.m., more than 40 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series TM haulers will make their way down Union Street in Concord, N.C., for “Haulers on Union.” The Tams performance at Union Street Live will begin immediately after the final hauler exits historic downtown en route to Charlotte Motor Speedway.
On May 20, the “Little 600 Race” will take place at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C. Using the motorplex’s fleet of rental karts, the 15-lap main event race will feature a full field of NASCAR drivers in addition to the Lady 600. The event will kick off at 4 p.m. The 600 Festival™ Association’s most notable event, Speed Street, is proud to have its two longest-standing sponsors, Coca-Cola and Chevrolet, as title and presenting sponsors, respectively, for the 20th annual event. Coca-Cola Speed Street presented by Chevrolet, which offers an unprecedented consumer experience, will take place in Uptown Charlotte May 22-24. The three-day event offers live entertainment, access to racing’s brightest stars and interactive displays from sponsors including Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and many more. This year’s musical entertainment will include headliners Who’s Bad Thursday night, Thompson Square Friday night and .38 Special Saturday night.
