Rod Stewart says he has discussed the idea of reuniting The Faces with Ronnie Wood.  The band split back in the 1970s and Wood joined The Rolling Stones.  Now, Stewart wants The Faces to get back together once Wood is done with the Stones.  Stewart tells The Express:

“I’d like to return with The Faces. Ronnie and I talk about it, and when the Stones finish – Mick is several years older than me – we’ll have a window of opportunity, if we’re not on Zimmers."

Then, for some reason, Stewart decided to take a shot at Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.  Stewart said, "“Mick’s a fine blues singer – but technically not as good as me.  He’s made the best of what he’s got. But I don’t think he could do standards – he may not want to.”

The Faces were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.  The band performed at the ceremony without Stewart who backed out due to a cold.
