"That's me in the corner.
That's me in the spotlight.
Losing my religion."

-- Jay-Z?

Jay-Z used lines from R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion on his song Heaven, which is featured on Jay-Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

How does R.E.M. feel about it?

Well, Michael Stipe says he is "thrilled" that Jay-Z used lyrics from one his most popular songs.  Stipe tells NME:

"I've known Jay for a long time, he's super cool, super grounded, super smart and super talented.  I've always had the deepest respect for him, and his music and choices. We're thrilled) to be included, it's a really great honor."  R.E.M. isn't the only alternative roock band to have their lyrics appear on Jay-Z's new album.  The first song on the album, Holy Grail, features lines from Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.
